How much should I bid for a property in Spain?

Many buyers ask me how much they should offer. Sometimes, I say if you offer the asking price you have the house forever. But there are honestly very few people who want to pay the full price.

So, all is negotiable. And bargaining in Spain is worthwhile.

This is a good guideline. Most homes on the Costa Blanca between Alicante and Altea are currently being sold at 70% of the asking price. Note, I'm talking about the good locations. Remember, within a house you can change almost everything, the location will never change.
